🌊 Isolahabile – Making the Sea Accessible for All
Isolahabile is Italy’s first social enterprise dedicated to empowering people with disabilities through inclusive sports, accessible tourism, and civic participation. Based in Naples, we work every day to break down physical, social, and cultural barriers, transforming the sea and public spaces into inclusive environments where everyone belongs. Our mission is to promote equality, accessibility, and social integration through innovative, community-driven experiences.

⚓ What We Do
Lorkinos Naval Living Lab
Our flagship initiative, Lorkinos, is a fully accessible floating laboratory, converted from a fishing boat confiscated by Italian authorities due to illegal transportation of asylum seekers. We transformed this boat from an ecological waste to an opportunity for inclusivity. Docked at Nisida, Naples, it hosts:
🏛️ Empowering Youth with disabilities’ participation and the civic space of people with disabilities through EU-funded and National funding programmes
🌊 Accessible Sailing School – Learn to sail in a safe, inclusive environment.
🤿 Inclusive Scuba Diving Courses – Explore the underwater world regardless of physical barriers. We’re an accredited Handicapped Scuba Association training centre.
🛳️ Educational Cruises – Experience the sea through guided educational trips.
🎭 Cultural and Recreational Events – Participate in inclusive cultural experiences.
🌟 Employment Integration Programs – Professional training and job opportunities for vulnerable groups.
